In exactly 500 days' time, the FEI World Championships 2026 will begin in Aachen. From August 11th to 23rd, World Championship titles in show-jumping, dressage, eventing, driving, vaulting and para-dressage will be awarded on the traditional grounds of the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein. The anticipation among riders and fans is already palpable.
A show of superlatives is expected, which will bring back memories of the 2006 World Equestrian Games or the 2015 European Championships. Eventing rider Michael Jung calls the upcoming WEG a huge highlight, dressage icon Isabell Werth is also looking forward to the special atmosphere in the Aachen stadium. Show-jumping rider Christian Kukuk, Olympic Champion in Paris, remembers the 2006 WEG as an enthusiastic spectator - and is now hoping for a start at his home WEG. The equestrian world is looking forward to Aachen.
