Annabella Pidgley and Vamos Amigos (Vitalis x Blue Hors Hotline) secured victory in the 3* Grand Prix Special in Herning with 70.660%, making them the only participants to exceed the 70% mark. The eleven-year-old gelding, formerly successful under Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour, impressed the judges and relegated the competition to second place.
Second place went to Germany's Greta Heemsoth with Anthrazit 5 (All At Once x Weltmeyer), who scored 69.617 %, just under the 70 % mark. The result of the winner of the Grand Prix was surprising: Nanna Skodborg Merrald and Blue Hors Znickers (Blue Hors Zack x De Niro) had to settle for 69.362 % and third place.
The judges' scores, some of which differed greatly, created particular tension. While Richard Baldwin (judge at E) saw Heemsoth at the top with 72.021 %, Pidgley received 72.447 % from Maarten Van Der Heijden - and thus the highest individual score of the day.
