The former successful partner of Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour, Atterupgaard's Cassidy (Caprimond x Donnerhall), was honored with the prestigious challenge cup of Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte at the Danish Warmblood Gala. The now 22-year-old gelding, who was given a ceremonial send-off at the 2022 World Championships in Herning, shaped the international dressage scene for years and brought Atterupgaard Stud into the global spotlight.

The chairman of the Danish Warmblood Association, Jan Pedersen, justified the choice with Cassidy's exceptional career and his contribution to the popularity of Danish warmblood horses. Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour was unable to accept the award in person, but expressed her thanks for the recognition via video.

Breeder Kristine Munch Sinding was visibly moved when she accepted the award and emphasized that Cassidy is a horse that everyone dreams of owning.
