Contents

On March 15 and 16, 2025, the Federal Professional Riders' Day will take place in Warendorf under the motto "History and Modernity - Professional Riders of the Future". Current challenges and developments in the equestrian industry will be discussed on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Bund der Berufsreiter (BBR) and the 50th anniversary of the profession of horse management.

After a tour of the stud farm, a keynote speech will provide an insight into the future of the industry. In the subsequent generation talk, moderated by Jan Tönjes, well-known professional riders will discuss the changing face of the profession. Guests include Burkhard Jung, Hans-Georg Gerlach and Dr. Astrid von Velsen-Zerweck. The Meistertalk also offers insights from renowned riding masters such as Hubertus Schmidt and Wolfram Wittig.

Sunday's theme is "Times are changing - training remains versatile" and is dedicated to modern horse training. Practical demonstrations and a guided tour of the DOKR will round off the program. The anniversary will be celebrated on Saturday evening with the traditional Stensbeck party.
