The stallion had to be euthanized after a serious injury

The Holsteiner Verband stallion Chapter(Conthargos x Cajandra Z) had to be put down due to a serious and recurring injury. The stallion was injured during a presentation outside the Elmshorn stables in the fall of 2024. Unfortunately, despite intensive veterinary care, there was no prospect of a complete recovery.
Chapter was discovered by Holsteiner Verband managing director Sebastian Rohde at the Holsteiner spring auction in 2023 and impressed with his athletic disposition. In spring 2024, he passed his sport test in Verden with an overall score of 8.51, with his ability standing out in particular with an 8.8. The promising young stallion had recently been licensed and was already in fresh semen production.
