The Austrian U25 Grand Prix rider Paul Jöbstl will be in the saddle on the Hanoverian mare Die Baroness(Danciano x Sir Donnerhall I) in the future. The eleven-year-old chestnut mare, bred by Andreas Middelkampf and most recently owned by Gestüt Westfalenhof, was previously successfully shown up to Grand Prix level by Kathrin Sudhölter. Last weekend, the pair presented themselves for the first time at the Test of Choice show in Stadl Paura.

The aim is to take the mare to the squad training in March and then take part in the U25 selection in Ebreichsdorf.

The 21-year-old Paul Jöbstl has already established himself internationally with Elastico(Johnson x Concorde), his proven sport partner, and celebrated successes at CDI tournaments in San Giovanni in Marignano, Gössendorf and Achleiten. Elastico is also well known in the German U25 sport: The now 16-year-old black stallion took home three medals at the FEI Dressage European Championships U25 in 2021 under Raphael Netz: including silver in the freestyle with 81.210%.

Jöbstl is now planning another strong season at U25 level with Die Baroness.
