After a quieter phase, Diederik van Silfhout has made an impressive return to the show ring. At the Subtop competition in Voorthuizen, the Dutch rider secured three first places with his two horses Zaragon (Zoom 8 x Just Perfect) and Kojack (Arlando x Uphill). The only seven-year-old Westphalian Zaragon, previously presented by Ann-Christin Wienkamp, particularly impressed on his debut in the ZZ-Zwaar class with solid scores of over 71 percent and directly secured qualification for the Dutch Dressage Championships.
Kojack also impressed with a victory in the Prix St. Georges (72.65%) and, according to Van Silfhout, is showing clear progress towards Intermédiaire II. In addition to the two starters, there are also four other talented horses, New Orleans (Farell x Jazz), Las Vegas (Ferdeaux x Wynton), Syrakus (Sezuan x Gribaldi) and Dante U.S. (Dante Weltino OLD x Sir Donnerhall I), some of whom are about to make their Grand Prix debut. Dante U.S. in particular, who was on the Olympic longlist last year, is to be shown in the arena again for the first time next weekend in Deurne.
