Oldenburg Verband introduces the designation "Elite" for outstanding stallions

New award from the Oldenburg Verband: "Elite Stallion"

Contents

The Oldenburg Verband has announced that the "Oldenburg Elite Stallion" award will in future be presented to stallions whose offspring have proven themselves in sport at the highest level. The basis for this honor is the FN's breeding value assessment as well as a comprehensive analysis of the offspring in terms of conformation and performance. The oldest offspring must be a maximum of 15 years old in order to focus on stallions that are actively used for breeding.

The following stallions were honored as Elite Stallions in show jumping: Cador, Cascadello I, Comme il faut and Diarado. In dressage, Bordeaux, Bretton Woods, Dante Weltino, Escolar, Foundation, Franziskus, Fürstenball, Millennium/T., Totilas and Vitalis now bear this title.
