Emma Kanerva's successful horse Greek Air(Gribaldi x Florestan) was sold to the Swedish U25 rider Matilda Stymne.
Bred by Gerd Küst, Kanerva began training the talented horse in 2017. After initial successes as a young horse, the pair made their debut at Grand Prix level in 2021 and have since competed for Finland at several international championships, including the 2021 and 2023 European Championships, the 2022 World Championships and finally the 2024 Olympic Games, where they finished twelfth with over 80 percent in the freestyle.
After the Olympic Games, the owner decided to sell the horse, ending the partnership between Kanerva and Greek Air. Matilda Stymne, who is in her last U25 year and already rides the Grand Prix gelding Faarbeakgaards Rising Star, is now taking over the reins of the experienced sport horse. Following rumors last week that the gelding had been sold, Stymne shared a video with her and Greek Air about the news on Instagram yesterday.
