The FEI, together with the organization #WeRideTogether, has published a new, free online training course on the topic of Safeguarding on its educational platform FEI Campus. The aim of the 90-minute course is to sensitize members of the equestrian community worldwide - including riders, trainers, parents, grooms, officials and volunteers - to sexual misconduct, to promote education and to show concrete options for action.

The course contains award-winning content from #WeRideTogether, including information videos, infographics and quizzes. It is currently available in English and will be translated into other languages later this year. Participants will learn, among other things, how to recognize misconduct, how to intervene as an active observer and how to deal with reports.

According to FEI Legal Director Mikael Rentsch, safeguarding is not just about guidelines, but also about a culture of respect and responsibility. Michaela Callie from #WeRideTogether emphasized the importance of international partnerships to enable sustainable, safe sport. The course is now open to all interested parties.
