he 20-year-old Oldenburg stallion Floriscount OLD(Florencio I x Donnerhall) will be stationed at Reesink Horses in the Netherlands for the 2025 breeding season. Breeder and owner Clemens von Merveldt is delighted with the interest from the Netherlands and sees great potential for KWPN breeding. Floriscount's son Ferguson has already proven that Floriscount is an excellent fit for Dutch breeding.

For Eugène Reesink, it was crucial to have a proven sire alongside many young stallions. The stallion, who previously stood with the Böckmann family and the Celle State Stud, last bred in Denmark and remains in demand with around 70 coverings per year.

In addition to his successful offspring, Floriscount also impressed in sport: Under Oliver Oelrich and later under the saddle of Patricia von Merveldt, the stallion was successful up to advanced level. His dam Arkona(Donnerhall x WalldorfI) produced four Grand Prix horses and three licensed stallions, including the full brothers Florimax and Flirt as well as the Bordeaux son Bardolino.
