Gerd Sosath celebrates his 70th birthday

Gerd Sosath celebrated his 70th birthday on 15 March 2025: the successful breeder, show jumper and entrepreneur from Lemwerder has made a name for himself with his internationally recognized riding, breeding and stallion keeping business. Together with his family, he runs the farm, which he took over in 1983 and developed into a renowned center for horse breeding.

In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, Sosath has been involved in equestrian sport on a voluntary basis for decades. As a co-founder of the Oldenburg-International Jumper Breeding Association (OS), he is still its deputy chairman today. He is also a member of the FN Breeding Committee and the DOKR Jumping Committee. His commitment to German horse breeding and show jumping has made him a formative personality in the industry.
