As part of the gradual liquidation of the Dutch Glock Horse Performance Center, several horses have now been transferred to Austrian ownership. According to the FEI database, Glock's Flavio, Glock's Kardam's Whisper and the already retired Grand Prix stallion Glock's Zanardi were officially transferred from the Dutch Glock HPC NL BV to the Austrian BV Glock Horse Performance Center GmbH on February 25, 2025.
Glock's Flavio last rode with Ruben Mengual Reig in the U25 Grand Prix before the latter also left the company. Glock's Kardam's Whisper was trained to Grand Prix maturity by Hans Peter Minderhoud, while Glock's Zanardi has been part of the stable since retiring at the end of his career in 2019.
Despite the ongoing withdrawal process, Minderhoud is still active in the sport and has taken part in international tournaments in Amsterdam, Doha and Den Bosch with Glock's Toto Jr, Glock's Taminiau and Glock's Massimo in recent months. He has also entered Taminiau for the 5* tournament in Fontainebleau at the end of April. Insiders assume that the final retirement from the sport will now take place in the summer of 2025 - a smoother transition than originally announced.
At the same time, there are reports of a possible investor for the site in Oosterbeek. It is said to be the Dutch entrepreneur Jan Anker, who reportedly also wanted to support Minderhoud in maintaining individual horses. However, this development is said to have distanced Kathrin Glock, who is still not commenting publicly on the future of the project. The Dutch team is also subject to a strict communication ban.
