Jannik Heiland is relying on a new partner at the upcoming Vaulting World Cup Final in Basel: the defending champion will be competing with the eight-year-old Hanoverian gelding Rey Rubino ( Rotspon x Christ). The horse, owned by US-American Claire Bartell, will be lunged by Lars Hansen, who has already successfully shown Rey Rubino on the national and international stage. Heiland has been regularly preparing for their joint appearance at Isabell Nowack's Sonnenbrink riding facility since the winter. The current list of starters is available on the Basel 2025 event page.
