As Jana Wargers announced on Instagram, she is retiring her successful horse Limbridge from the sport. The now 15-year-old stallion, descended from Limbus out of a(Cambridge x Lordano) dam, has been highly successful in international sport under Wargers since 2021.

Bred by Ralf Pawlowski, Limbridge was initially presented by Christoph Kaufmann as a 4- to 8-year-old in tests for young show jumpers up to advanced (S**) level. This was followed in 2019 by a start at 3* level under Eve Jobs at the CSI Braunschweig, before Jana Wargers took over Limbridge in 2021.

This was followed by placings at 3* and 4* level and two victories in international 4* competitions. In addition to successful Nations Cup participations, the pair were part of the German team at the 2023 European Show Jumping Championships in Milan, where they finished fourth with the team. After one last start in Oliva last January, Limbridge is now taking his well-deserved retirement.
