Jörne Sprehe achieved a strong second place in the Grand Prix of Mexico City as part of the Global Champions Tour. With her 13-year-old mare Sprehe Hot Easy (Andiamo x Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve), she not only remained clear in the round, but also impressed in the fast jump-off. In 43.31 seconds, the well-rehearsed duo took full risk - and in the end only had to admit defeat to Italy's Emanuele Camilli.
A total of six pairs remained clear in the jump-off, which turned the competition into a real second thriller. Hot Easy, who has already gained experience on international courses such as Calgary, once again presented herself in top form in Mexico.
In addition to Sprehe's individual success, other German pairs also put in strong performances: Three combinations with German participation placed in the top five. Teams with German riders had already taken first to third place in the Global Champions League.
