Laura Kraut cancels start at the World Cup final in Basel

US rider Laura Kraut will not be taking part in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final 2025 in Basel: she was originally one of nine US representatives, but has now withdrawn her entry after her Olympic horse Baloutinue suffered a minor injury.

As Kraut explained to worldofshowjumping.com, her team decided in consultation to take the gelding out of the final to give him a break to recover. It is still too early to let him compete at the highest level. Instead, the focus is now on preparing for the European season.
