Mathies Rüder has been part of the team of riders at the Holsteiner Verband facility in Elmshorn since the beginning of March. The 19-year-old, who comes from Fehmarn, is being trained as an equestrian with a focus on riding as part of a training alliance with his parents' business. Managing Director Felix Flinzer is delighted with the new addition and describes Rüder as one of the most promising young talents in German show jumping.

Rüder's sporting success speaks for itself: German Children's Champion, silver in the Nations Cup Final, winner of the 2021 HGW National Young Rider Championships, European Junior Eventing Champion in 2022 and team bronze in 2024 among the young riders. He has also already attracted attention in senior sport - including a top 10 placing in the Hamburg Derby and starts at 1.60-meter level in Hickstead. Most recently, he impressed with Flora V and Carlesta at international tournaments in Neumünster and Opglabbeek.
