Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann took an impressive victory in the 1.50-meter Grand Prix of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva. Riding the nine-year-old Irish gelding Iron Dames Just a Dream, she beat ten competitors in the jump-off, beating the Belgian rider Axel Vandoorne into second place in 38.09 seconds. Ireland's David Simpson came third, followed by Gerco Schröder from the Netherlands.

Just a Dream was previously active under Irish rider Francis Connors and only switched to Meyer-Zimmermann last year. The fact that this combination is now so successful was particularly emotional: Connors was on site with his family and followed the success of his former horse. A special moment for Meyer-Zimmermann, as she emphasized to the organizers.

Other German participants failed to qualify for the jump-off. The tournament series in Oliva continues in week IV with further show jumping competitions.
