
Mr. Cheeky is auction leader at Holsteiner spring auction
Six-year-old gelding achieves the highest price of the event at 44,250 euros

The Holsteiner spring auction ended successfully on Saturday evening with the knockdown of Mr. Cheeky. The dark bay gelding by Million Dollar out of Stamm 703 was sold to online bidders for 44,250 euro, making him the most expensive horse at the auction. The six-year-old was bred by Michael Rump in Beidenfleth and exhibited by Yannick Lembke from Süderlügum. Mr. Cheeky has already achieved his first placings in show jumping competitions up to 1.10 meters.
Ancelotti by All Star from the renowned 890 line also found a new owner for 38,000 euros. The five-year-old gelding from Zuchthof Hollen in Oyten will be based in the USA in the future. Ziro, a three-year-old gray by Zuccero HV, was sold for 37,500 euro and will travel to Hungary. Overall, the average price of the horses on offer was around 25,000 euro.
