The Oldenburg Verband has awarded three stallions from Schafhof Stud in Kronberg the title of "Elite Stallion". Totilas (Gribaldi x Glendale), Foundation (Fidertanz x De Vito) and Bretton Woods (Johnson x De Niro) received this honor.
The awarding of elite status recognizes stallions who have had a lasting influence on high-level sport through their offspring. Totilas in particular is regarded as one of the most influential dressage horse personalities of recent decades, while Foundation and Bretton Woods have established themselves as valued sires. With this recognition, the Oldenburg Verband underlines the breeding significance of the stallions for international dressage sport.
