This round of the Longines Fei Jumping World Cup™ had it all, none of the first riders remained faultless. A very challenging course, which the course designer Bernado Costa Cabral (POR) and his team also set up on the second day of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final in the event arena of the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The time allowed was 76 seconds. In the end, a total of nine riders from France, Norway, the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Brazil, Denmark and Switzerland made it into the jump-off of the second round of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final.

Norjon Tuyakbaev, a rider competing for Uzbekistan, was jubilant as he qualified for the jump-off with a time of 74.91 and four faults. - That's pretty special considering he made it to the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final from the Eurasian League - Central Asia. - Nevertheless, it remained exciting to see if and when a rider would manage to finish this challenging course without any faults and in the prescribed time.

First rider after the break was Marcus Ehning with Priam du Roset, tense the spectators on site and at home followed the ride of the German at Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™, a brilliant round, which unfortunately was not enough for the first clear round either. The slight touching of the pole at jump 11 led to 4 penalty points.

The French rider Julien Eppaillard and Donatello d'Auge is the first rider who managed to finish this difficult course without any faults! The jubilation is big at the CHI Health Center in Omaha.

From Norway comes the next clear round, Viktoria Gulliksen with Papa Roach rode a very strong round and thus qualified for the jump-off.

Defending champion Martin Fuchs also had a mistake in the second round of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final in Omaha and consequently did not qualify for the jump-off.

The American Devin Ryan and Eddie Blue qualify with a very good round in the jump-off. With a time of 75.33 seconds he stayed just under the allowed 76 seconds.

We have already seen a descendant of Balou du Reventon today, now Harry Charles is in the saddle of this beautiful stallion by Cornet Obolensky. With a clear ride and a time of 71.81, the Brit qualifies for the jump-off from Round 2 of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™.

Too bad! The rider Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann, starting for Germany, had a drop at the water and did not qualify for the jump-off.

Daniel Bluman's competition was also exciting, unfortunately the rider competing for Israel had a fault at jump 12a and did not qualify for the jump-off.

Cheers in Omaha and at home in Germany, the first German rider, Richard Vogel and United Touch S qualify for the jump-off!

The sixth clear round goes to Yuri Mansur and Vitiki. His biggest fan is clearly his son, who cheered along during his round and cheered loudly when Yuri Mansur finished the round with zero faults.

Hunter Holloway is the seventh rider to make it to the jump-off! This means that there are now two of the hosts that you can see in the jump-off.

Denmark's Andreas Schou and Darc de Lux also qualify for the jump-off. The 34th starter pair, shows once again that there are always surprises in show jumping and the excitement of such a tournament can be felt on a completely different level.

Pius Schwizer and Vancouver de Lanlore are also in the jump-off.

The last rider and also winner of the FEI World Championships in show jumping, Henrik von Eckermann did not manage to stay clear in this difficult course. However, he manages to stay fastest of the four penalty points and keeps himself in the top 10.

Well, that has Richard Vogel has done it! The German more than exceeded his ambition before the jump-off to get as far forward as possible in the jump-off by taking the victory of this round.

"The course was not easy [...] I have had some spectacular young horses, but he is special, it is a privilege to ride such an animal [...] I made a mistake yesterday and I hope it will not cost me too much [in points]" - Harry Charles before the jump-off.

The jump-off was exciting, the spectators in the CHI Health Center in Omaha and also the viewers of the worldwide livestream were sweating. French rider Julien Epaillard started, the first zero of the first round, unfortunately he had 8 faults in the jump-off, but set a fast time with 32.97 seconds. Then came Norway's Victoria Gulliksen with Equine America Papa Roach, the first clear round in the jump-off. Devin Ryan also had a mistake on the last jump, annoying. Harry Charles and Balou du Reventon flew through the jump-off in Omaha, with a time of 35.25 seconds the two flew into first place, but Richard Vogel had also set his course for first place, with a time of 35.11 seconds he overtook the Brit and positioned himself in first place. Vitiki and Yuri Mansur also failed to beat Richard Vogel, with a time of 36.30 seconds and 4 faults they placed 4th for now. Hunter Holloway unfortunately had a fault in the jump-off after her great round in the first round. The next clear ride went to Andreas Schou from Denmark, but not faster than Harry Charles and Richard Vogel. The last rider Pius Schwizer is also clear and places fourth. Richard Vogel remained unbeaten and wins the jump-off!
