After a good 100 days in office, FN President Martin Richenhagen hosted a media reception and took the opportunity to take stock. Under the motto of an open review and motivated outlook, the question "Without school horses, no top-class sport?" was the focus of the evening's panel discussion with Isabell Werth and moderator Ulrich Stockheim.

The relevance of the "100 school horses plus" initiative, which aims to strengthen access to equestrian sport on a broad basis, was jointly emphasized. Isabell Werth emphasized the formative effect of early riding experiences, from lungeing lessons to the values taught in dealing with horses.

A concrete example of sustainable commitment was provided by the handover of the eight-year-old Hanoverian gelding Quel-Mec, in future "Max", to the Fredenbeck Riding Club - part of the aforementioned project. The horse is intended to give young people an introduction to equestrian sports in the future. The gesture symbolizes the willingness to not only demand change, but to actively help shape it.
