Springbank II VH and Point Break honored as "Rising Stallions" 2024

The Swedish Warmblood Association (SWB) has honored the stallions Springbank II VH (SWB) and Point Break (SWB) with the title "Rising Stallion" 2024. The award is presented annually to a dressage stallion and a show jumping stallion whose offspring show particular promise for the sport.

What is the "Rising Stallions Award"?
The award has been presented by the SWB for 14 years and honors stallions that have proven themselves in breeding and whose offspring show great potential. To be eligible for the award, the stallion must have a Swedish studbook number, have at least 15 tested or successful offspring and have been or are active in sport. A stallion can only receive this award once.

Springbank II VH(Skovens Rafael x De Niro) impressed early on with exceptional performances, including victories in the Danish 35-day test and several young horse championships. His offspring have proven themselves in breeding and sport competitions, including his licensed sons Droom's Oleander (SWB) and Scarabus VH (SWB).

Point Break(Action-Breaker x Balou du Rouet) has proven himself with successes in international 1.60 m jumping competitions. His offspring already show great potential in youngster classes. The stallion was awarded a breeding index of 137 for his offspring performance.
