The selection for the FEI WBFSH World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses 2025 is taking shape. The selection of German horses for the World Championships will take place as usual in Warendorf. The first inspection will take place from June 23-25, the second on July 15. Eight German riding horses per age group will then be nominated by a DOKR selection committee.

After being held in Ermelo (Netherlands) for three years, the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses will return to Verden from 2025 to 2027. The organizers will focus entirely on the championships: the Grand Prix Tour and other dressage tests will be omitted. All World Championship rounds - from the qualifiers to the Grand Final - will be held in the main stadium.

In addition, Hanoverian-bred horses will be given a special appearance. The week begins with the presentation of outstanding Hanoverian mares for breeding. In addition, the Bundeschampionat qualifiers and the Hanoverian Championships for three and four-year-old horses will be held in Verden. The finals of these competitions will take place immediately before the World Championship finals on Sunday.
