(Hohen Wieschendorf) "I am very curious because everyone who knows the facility is raving about it to me," confesses show jumper Richard Vogel from Marburg without mincing words. The 26-year-old young World Cup finalist, who finished his World Cup debut in the USA at the beginning of April as the best German in seventh place, is one of the internationally renowned participants at the DKB Horse Week in Hohen Wieschendorf from May 10 - 14 at Glantz Equestrian.

Vogel as well as his partner Sophie Hinners are the shooting stars of international show jumping - both are competing at the DKB Horse Week, coming from the Maimarkt tournament in Mannheim to Hohen Wieschendorf, because Richard Vogel is from Mannheim. The show jumper will be taking Cepano Baloubet with him on the journey of around 700 kilometers, the nine-year-old gelding who gave him victory in the Rolex Grand Prix in Wellington/USA at the beginning of April, the most prestigious show jumping competition. "He has now had a break since Wellington and is rested," Vogel said, and with that, his colleagues then know that mighty competition is coming their way. In addition, Evermita and Gina are also going on the trip to the Baltic Sea.

The arrival wave has already started on Tuesday. From all directions, horse transporters with precious cargo are gradually arriving at the new riding facility next to the strawberry farm Glantz in Hohen Wieschendorf, which is well prepared for five tournament days, the big farm festival to kick off the strawberry season, many guests and visitors.
