As equestrian worldwide reports, JAHR Verlag parted ways with editor-in-chief Jan Tönjes and the entire team of the renowned magazine St. Georg at the beginning of this year. While the website continued to be updated with content, the social media channels remained almost inactive for weeks.
A realignment has now been announced at Equitana: St. Georg, Mein Pferd and Reiter Revue are to merge. There are no official details yet, but a teaser in the Equitana catalog confirms that the three magazines will be published "together" from spring 2025.
The planned restructuring is causing speculation behind the scenes. Industry experts assume that there will only be one central editorial office in future in order to meet economic challenges. It remains to be seen how this merger will affect the journalistic orientation of the magazines.
