Stuteri K2 ceases operations
A chapter ends after more than 35 years of successful breeding - stallions move to Holland
Contents
Karin Levin Angergård and her husband Kent Angergård say goodbye to their traditional Stuteri K2 stud farm in Degerberga, Sweden. After decades of successful breeding with internationally recognized riding pony stallions, the facility is sold and the stallions move to Holland.
Particularly well-known names such as Leuns Veld's Lord, De Goede Ree's Metall and the successful dressage stallion Jarno RP 145 will in future be stationed at Turfhorst Stuteri, a partner of many years. Angergård emphasizes that she will continue to own the stallions because the horses are close to her heart and it was never about the financial aspect.
Jarno RP 145 has won numerous elite competitions in his career, achieved international placings and competed in two European Championships. Several young talents were promoted with him to the FEI classes. Despite great interest in buying him, he was never sold.
While the stallions move to Holland, a new chapter begins for the couple. They have found a new home in Brösarp and plan to spend more time in their house in Spain.
