Zonik Plus and Maxima Bella shine in Lier
Verboomen and Sysojeva deliver new personal bests

The nine-year-old dressage youngsters Zonik Plus(Glock's Zonik N.O.P. i x Hohenstein I) and Maxima Bella(Millennium x Christ) dominated the 4* Grand Prix in Lier. Justin Verboomen won with Zonik Plus and a new personal best of 75.761%, while Sandra Sysojeva and Maxima Bella were close behind in second place with 75.413%. Denoix PCH (Destano x Pik Noir) and Katharina Hemmer were third and therefore also the best German pair with a score of 72.587%. Semmieke Rothenberger, who won the 3* Grand Prix with Farrington and was actually on the starting list for the 4* Grand Prix with her mare Flanell, did not compete.
Previously in Kronenberg and Mechelen, Zonik Plus and Verboomen had already shown that they are a serious combination for the world's top riders. In Lier, they confirmed this image once again and improved their personal best once more. Sandra Sysojeva and Maxima Bella, who traveled directly from Doha, were only narrowly beaten.
Finally, on Sunday, March 2nd, the CDI4* Grand Prix Special will take place from 11:10 am and the CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle from 3:00 pm. Both will of course be broadcast live by ClipMyHorse.TV.
