At the 60th edition of the Youhorse.auction on Tuesday evening, the licensed stallion Armilou (Armison x Balou du Rouet) sold for a top price of 38,000 euros, marking the highlight of the anniversary auction. The six-year-old Mecklenburg stallion found a new owner in Spain, putting him at the top of the international bidding field.
The auction once again showed strong global demand: The three-year-old mare Saturday Night VDB was purchased for 34,000 euros by buyers from the USA, while two horses from the Donkhoeve breeding line went to Poland - including Virreina vd Donkhoeve (Charisto vd Heffinck x Kato T Z) for 26,000 euros. Two seven-year-old sport horses will be used in Sweden in the future, and a knockdown of 18,000 euros each went to buyers from Saudi Arabia and Romania.
According to organizer Mario Everse, the evening was a complete success and underlined the continuing upswing of the platform. The next edition of Youhorse.auction is planned for May 6. Interested consignors can already register for the selection days on April 14 and 15.
