The KWPN stallion Dream Boy(Vivaldi x Ferro), known for his successful sport and breeding career, will be based in Germany in the future. As horses.nl reports, the 17-year-old black stallion has moved to the Hof Sosath stud farm to compete in the 2025 breeding season. The move to Germany is due to high demand from the country, as co-owner Koen Brinkman explained.

Bred by Tim Coomans, Dream Boy was licensed at the KWPN licensing in 2011 and scored 78.5 points in his stallion performance test. This was later followed by breeding licenses in Denmark, Sweden and Germany. As a sire, he produced the licensed stallions Dynamic Dream and Blue Hors Monte Carlo, among others, and was awarded the Keur predicate by KWPN in 2022.

Dream Boy enjoyed international sporting success under Hans Peter Minderhoud. After successes in young horse tests, the pair won team silver at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon and the 2019 European Championships. They also represented the Netherlands at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, where they took 12th place in the freestyle. After an injury break, Dream Boy ended his sporting career at the beginning of 2024.

With the gradual closure of the Glock Horse Performance Center, many Glock horses have found new homes. While some have moved to Austria, the sport stallions Toto Jr. and Taminiau remain active. There is as yet no official information about the future of Johnson, who is also owned by Glock.
