Boehringer Ingelheim will once again launch its annual spring Equine Cushing's Disease (PPID) testing program on April 1. The program, conducted in partnership with the Cornell Animal Health Diagnostic Laboratory, provides veterinarians with extensive resources and free testing to help diagnose this common disease. The deadline for submitting samples is June 6, 2025.

Over 50,000 horses have already been tested since the program began in 2013. According to Dr. Steve Grubbs from Boehringer Ingelheim, early detection of clinical symptoms can make a significant contribution to improving treatment.

Another test window will be offered in the fall - from August 19 to October 14.
