Ingmar De Vos, President of the FEI, has been confirmed for a second term as a member of the International Olympic Committee during the 144th IOC Session in Costa Navarino. His membership of the IOC will no longer be defined by his role as FEI President, but by his position as future President of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF), which he will take up on January 1, 2025.

De Vos was delighted with his re-election and emphasized the responsibility that comes with helping to shape the future of the Olympic movement - particularly with regard to sustainability and climate protection. He also praised the election of Kirsty Coventry as the new IOC President, the first woman and African to hold this office.
